The Plaza Commandments

1. Please pay attention
    at the table:

Keeping the game moving is in everyone’s best interest.

2. Make your actions clear:

Please speak clearly and avoid confusion.

3. When in doubt – ASK:
Assumptions lead to problems, ask your dealer or management for clarification when necessary.
4. Respect the game:
Be courteous to others, including players, dealers, hostesses and all staff. Please keep comments about ongoing hands to a minimum – action can be affected by seemingly innocent comments and/or gestures.
5. Inform your dealer:
If you get up from the table, your blinds will be posted unless you specifically inform the dealer not to do so.  If you bust out and don’t tell your dealer you are returning, your spot may be lost to someone else.
6. Please wait to be seated:
Seating is assigned by the house. Players will be seated in a manner that will keep the tables as balanced as possible. Players who are seated 9th or 10th at a table will be required to move if needed to open a new table. This “must-move” policy is not optional.
7. Do not touch the pot:
Players are not permitted to make change from the pot or take a pot until the dealer pushes it to them.
8. Do not damage the equipment:
Cards, chips, and tables should be handled with care. Cigarettes, Cigars, Pipes, Food, Drinks, etc. are not allowed over the tables.  You may be charged a fee to replace equipment damaged as a result of abuse.
9. The dealer is in charge:
Please let the dealers run the game. If you want to contest a dealer’s decision, please address it with management away from the table so as not to disturb the game unless the dispute directly affects a hand in progress.
10. Please be generous to our staff:
They are professionals and they depend on your tips.
